Meet Carmen Musick Roland
I’ve spent my career being the person people turn to when there are a lot of moving pieces and someone needs to make sure they all actually move. I’m an operations-minded problem solver by nature — I organize the details, anticipate what’s coming next, find practical solutions and get things done. Over the years, I realized that what I do best isn’t specific to one industry, one business or even just business at all. Whether I’m managing finances, coordinating an event, organizing a household, solving an unexpected problem or simply taking something off someone’s plate, my goal is always the same: make things easier. Carmen Musick Consulting was built to give busy people something incredibly valuable — a trusted person who understands the big picture, handles the details and creates the kind of order that lets them focus on what matters most.
My experience was built long before Carmen Musick Consulting had a name. I’ve spent more than two decades managing businesses, organizations, people, finances and events — often in fast-moving environments where there wasn’t a playbook and figuring it out was part of the job. My background in veterinary management and nonprofit operations taught me how to juggle competing priorities, manage complex logistics, work with people at every level and stay calm when plans inevitably change. Today, I bring that same experience to my clients in a much more personal way, helping manage both the professional and personal details that keep their lives moving.
Life Outside the Desk
When I'm not behind a desk keeping businesses and busy lives moving forward, I'm usually doing anything that keeps me moving.

I love a good hike, a hard workout, a round of golf, and pretty much any excuse to spend the day outside. Give me a beautiful trail, a golf course, or a sunny day on the river and I'm in my happy place. And when I can't get outside, you'll probably find me riding my favorite bike that goes absolutely nowhere — otherwise known as my Peloton.

I share the adventures (and plenty of everyday chaos) with my husband, Steve, our two Golden Retrievers, Romo & Ryder, and my grandbabies, who have a way of stealing the spotlight (and my heart) every single time. The dogs are always happy to participate as long as snacks are involved — contributing absolutely nothing financially to their royal lives but they do have big opinions.

I believe in working hard, laughing harder, staying strong, getting outside, and actually enjoying the life we are all working so hard to build. For me, success isn't just about having everything organized — it's about creating enough space in your life to go live it.
